Chemical Peels
As we age, the accumulated effects of sun exposure, pollutants, acne, and
scarring can damage our skin and cause us to look older than we are.
Such skin
damage can be treated with a chemical peel, a non-invasive procedure designed to
promote cell growth and produce a smoother, clearer complexion.
Chemical peels
have been known to improve creases and wrinkles, sun damage, abnormally
pigmented skin such as age spots, superficial scarring, blotchy skin tone, acne,
and clogged pores. It promotes increased blood flow and circulation, stimulating
cells to build up collagen and elastin fibers.
The subsequent realignment of the
skin’s collagen building blocks after the peel leads to younger looking skin.
There is little discomfort during the procedure and relatively no “down time.”
After the skin peels and recovers, the new ”baby” skin comes in healthier and
more radiant than ever!
Daily use of a 30 SPF for UVA and UVB rays is essential
during the peeling and indefinitely. Chemical peels can be performed on the
face, neck, chest, arms hands, and legs as needed.
